Alan Rapp writes, edits, and develops books in the fields of architecture, design, and photography. He has contributed writing to Modern Painters, The Photobook Review, Wired Design, Dwell, Urban Omnibus, and numerous other publications. Alan holds an MFA in Design Criticism from the School of Visual Arts, and leads graduate thesis and design seminars at RISD and Pratt Institute. He operates an editorial consultancy and packager, ARstudio, where he works with authors, visual artists, photographers, and designers to develop visual book projects and bring them to publication.
